DESCRIPTION

BPC-157 (Body Protecting Compound) is a synthetic 15-amino acid peptide derived from a gastric protein with pronounced regenerative, anti-inflammatory, and protective properties. It impedes tissue healing (muscles, ligaments, bones, skin).

BPC-157 increases the expression of genes responsible for the production of growth factors, including TGF-beta (transforming growth factor-beta) and FGF (fibroblast growth factor). These substances play a key role in cell proliferation, fibroblast fusion, and extracellular matrix synthesis, leading to the healing of various tissue types.

BPC-157 restores the gastrointestinal mucosa and is used for rehabilitation after injuries. Another key indicator of BPC-157’s action is its ability to stimulate the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis). The peptide activates a prominent pathway for VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), leading to active microcirculation in damaged tissues.

BPC-157 has pronounced anti-inflammatory properties, modulating the activity of proinflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-alpha and IL-6). It also protects cells from apoptosis (programmed cell death) and oxidative stress, increasing tissue resistance to etiological damage.

ADMINISTRATION

The drug is most effective when administered systemically. It is usually administered subcutaneously into a hard layer (often in the abdominal area). Intramuscular injection is used for tissue or joint injuries. For maximum effect, it is recommended to administer the drug as close to the affected area as possible.

DOSAGE

One vial contains 10 mg, or 10,000 mcg. The typical daily dose ranges from 200 to 1,000 mcg, with the most commonly reported effective dose being 500 mcg per day. Individual dosing is also practiced, at a rate of 10 mcg per kg of body weight. The average course duration is 4 to 8 weeks.

To achieve a strong synergistic anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect, BPC-157 can be used in conjunction with TV-500. This combination can be used, for example, to accelerate recovery after surgery, especially in tendons (e.g., the Achilles tendon), ligaments, and other conditions, as well as in the development of chronic tenditis and other similar conditions.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Consult your physician before using BPC-157 if you are taking medications for cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders, or have a history of cancer.

SIDE EFFECTS

With proper use and moderate dosages, adverse effects are rare. During medical studies, some patients reported severe side effects such as pain and swelling at the injection site, joint pain, anxiety, panic attacks, increased heart rate, insomnia or drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, depression, or anhedonia. Carefully assess your individual tolerance to BPC-157 and consult your physician before using this medication.
